BRAND DIFFERENTIATION: Mr. Eazi as a case study

As we look back on what made Mr. Eazi stand out from the crowd during his formative days as a young Nigerian Afro Pop Artiste, we are taking a look at his unique selling points which tend to be his sound, voice and most importantly, his signature HAT.

Eazi made his entry into the music industry with a different vibe that easily paved way for him to gain stardom.

His flamboyant identity and outlook made him to be visually appealing to his fans. He never seized to rock his hat anytime he climbed the stage to scream ZAGADAT.

In one of his interviews, he said the the hat was mainly worn by local Ghanaian farmers. So he just liked it and started
rocking it.

In summary, brand differentiation is the means by which your brand is set apart from the competition, by associating a superior performing aspect of your brand with multiple customer benefits.
