It was formerly known as ‘uyo circuit’ before it was named Ibom Connection. Former Governor Victor Attah, during his tenure, remodelled the age-long piece of art and made it attractive enough to be called a tourist attraction centre point.
Ibom connection is located at a centre point that connects popular streets in Uyo such as Aka Road, Oron Road, Ikot Ekpene Road and Abak Road.
